Casa Agua de Vida fue hecha para encajar perfectamente en el ambiente del sitio en que se encuentra, su individualidad resaltada por materiales propios de la región. Los techos de palapa y la decoración de piedras que sintonizan con el oceano, las palmas y la piscina para crear un espacio romántico y único. La arquitectura curvilinea y la escalera desafía las paredes rectas, al igual que el comedor y barra en el área de palapa.  La escalera de adoquín que lleva del bar en la palapa al océano te sitúa sobre la arena fina de la playa. El arquitecto William Swanson de Santa Barbara (California) hace uso de la función y forma de tal manera que la ubicación del la propiedad y la vista hablan por sí solas. Esta casa de dos pisos tiene tres habitaciones suites mismas que dan una espectacular vista en todas las direcciones. Al este, desde la habitación máster del segundo piso de puede ver el amanecer a través de la vegetación del bosque tropical. El punto más lejano visible se puede observar la punta de la bahía que es parte de la región de Cabo Corrientes, mientras que en lo más inmediato se puede apreciar arrecifes de coral que están 50 pies sobre el mar. La vista hacia el este abarca lo restante de la Bahía de Banderas y atardeceres que culminan en las Islas Marietas. Ventanas, puertas y algunos muebles de parota de los bosques de la región, hechos por manos artesanas locales, decoran el interior. Oscura y resistente madera resaltan las entradas, trabajada cautelosamente a mano. La palapa hecha por el mismo artesano que construyó la recepción principal de Four Seasons demuestra el talento local, impermeable y que da lugar a la arquitectura entre las palmas de los alrededores.

Casa Agua de Vida was built to blend into the environment which surrounds the home. The building, which is appropriate to the climate and made from material indigenous to the area, is a statement of individuality. The palapa roofs and river stone mesh with the ocean, palms, and pools to create a romantic and unique home. The curvilinear architecture and stairways defy straight walls,  as does the outdoor dining room and bar area under a palapa umbrella. A cobble stone stairway from the palapa bar to the ocean, places you onto a mile of sugar-fine sand to the south. The architect, William Swanson from Santa Barbara, California, has incorporated function and form while allowing the building site and views to speak for themselves. The 2-story home has 3 bedroom suites, all of which take advantage of the spectacular views in all directions. To the east, from the upstairs master bedroom, the sunrise pours in from Puerto Vallarta across the tops of the trees in the tropical forest. The distant view to the south is the southernmost tip of Bahia Banderas known as Cabo Corientes, while in the immediate foreground there is a magnificent view of surf and coral reefs from 50 feet above sea level. The view to the west encompasses the remainder of the Banderas Bay, and sunsets that fade behind the Mariettas Islands. Native parota hardwood was cut from the jungle, dried and milled by local craftsmen to form the windows, doors, and some of the furnishing inside the home. The dark hardwood richly accents the openings with hand-crafted quality. The palapa roof, built by the same craftsman who built the main lobby of the Four Seasons, also displays the local talent as each palm frond is tightly woven together. This natural roof covering is impervious to rain, while allowing airflow that gives the architecture its place among the surrounding palms.
